It is one of the most widely used names to determine a Dutch philosopher of Sephardic origin. He was also known as Baruch Spinoza, Bento, Benedict, Benedict or Benedictus Spinoza, by Spinoza or Espinosa. He was considered a great rationalist alongside René Descartes and Gottfried Leibniz.
